Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: June 2025

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of QR Launcher, published under the publisher name "Photo-Picture Keyboard".

By using this app we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use QR Launcher if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement, and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person using this app and compliant to the Company's terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us" refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us" refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client's needs in respect of provision of the Company's stated services, in accordance with and subject to prevailing law.

 

License

Unless otherwise stated, Photo-Picture Keyboard and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material in QR Launcher. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from QR Launcher for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

•       Republish material from QR Launcher

•       Sell, rent or sub-license material from QR Launcher

•       Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from QR Launcher

•       Redistribute content from QR Launcher

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.

 

App Permissions

To provide its core functionality, QR Launcher requires the following device permissions:

•       Camera – Used solely to scan QR codes in real time. The camera is not used to capture or store images without your action.

•       Read Media Images / Read Media Video – Allows scanning QR codes from images already saved on your device. No media is uploaded or shared without your explicit action.

•       Foreground Service – Powers the App Change Monitor feature. A visible notification is shown whenever this service is active. It can be stopped at any time and does not collect personal data.

•       Overlay Permission – Used optionally to display QR content over other apps, only when enabled by you.

•       Post Notifications – Used to send relevant app alerts and updates. You may manage this through your device settings at any time.

•       Read Phone State – Used for device identification and analytics only. No call data or contacts are accessed.

•       Schedule Exact Alarm – Used to schedule reminders or timed actions within the app. Your personal calendar is not accessed.

 

User Conduct

By using QR Launcher, you agree not to:

•       Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations

•       Generate or scan QR codes containing malicious, harmful, or illegal content

•       Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app

•       Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

•       Use the app to distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software

•       Collect or harvest data from other users without their knowledge and consent

 

In-App Purchases

QR Launcher may offer optional in-app purchases or premium features processed through Google Play. By making a purchase, you agree to Google Play's payment terms and billing policies. All purchases are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date via your Google Play account settings.

 

Advertising

QR Launcher may display advertisements served by third-party networks including Google AdMob. These advertisers may use cookies and device identifiers to show interest-based ads. You may opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings or Google's ad preferences.

 

Third-Party Services

The app may use or link to third-party services including:

•       Google Analytics – for usage analytics

•       Firebase – for app analytics and crash reporting

•       Appvestor – subject to Appvestor's Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement

•       Google AdMob – for in-app advertising

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

 

Content Liability

We shall not be held responsible for any content that appears through QR codes scanned using the app. Users are solely responsible for the QR codes they create and the content they access. No QR code content should be used in a manner that is libelous, obscene, criminal, or that infringes or advocates the infringement of any third-party rights.

 

iFrames

Without prior written permission, you may not create frames around any content related to QR Launcher that alters in any way the visual presentation or appearance of the app.

 

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties, and conditions relating to QR Launcher and the use of this app. Nothing in this disclaimer will:

•       Limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury

•       Limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

•       Limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law

•       Exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law

The limitations and prohibitions of liability set in this section govern all liabilities arising under these Terms, including liabilities arising in contract, in tort, and for breach of statutory duty.

 

Children's Privacy

QR Launcher is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the app or provided personal data, please contact us immediately. We will take steps to remove such information from our records.

 

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted within the app and take effect upon posting. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent in-app notice prior to the change becoming effective. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

Reservation of Rights

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and our policies at any time. By continuing to use QR Launcher, you agree to be bound by the current version of these terms and conditions.
